Formulation Description

Trans-resveratrol 99% is a highly purified form of resveratrol. The RD sample presents a liposomal nanoemulsion developed for the assessment of stability, physicochemical characteristics, and further optimization and implementation of innovative products for research and development and commercial applications.

Testing

DLS

Particle Size

Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS) analysis showed a nanoemulsion with an average particle size (Z-Average) of 129.2 nm and a polydispersity index (PdI) of 0.170. The dominant particle population reached approximately 157.5 nm and accounted for 100% of the signal intensity, indicating a homogeneous size distribution and high formulation quality. The result was rated as “Good,” confirming the correct measurement procedure and high sample repeatability.

Turbiscan

Stability

Turbiscan analysis was performed to assess the physical stability of the resveratrol nanoemulsion over time. Changes in the TSI (Turbiscan Stability Index) indicate good formulation stability and the absence of significant destabilization processes such as sedimentation, creaming, or particle aggregation. The results confirm the adequate stability of the sample for further research and development work.

Cryo-TEM

Structure Imaging

The image obtained by CRYO-TEM (Cryogenic Transmission Electron Microscopy), which allows direct observation of nanostructures in a near-native state, shows the nanostructures of the resveratrol-containing nanoemulsion sample. Spherical objects of varying sizes are visible, consistent with DLS analysis results. CRYO-TEM enables the assessment of morphology and nanoparticle distribution and complements the physicochemical analyses of the formulation.
